ROMANIAN ASSOCIATION ON HYDATIDOLOGY (RAH)
RAH is a professional, non profit NGO, which was founded in 2008. The aim of this organization is to fight against hydatid disease, by several working groups, created by specialists, interested and involved in activities related to the parasite and possible hosts, in order to increase the knowledge on this disease and consequently to sustain its surveillance and control on the Romanian territory and to share the experience with other similar organizations from abroad. The association involve members from several specialties, organized on working groups: clinical and laboratory parasitologists, infectious diseases specialists, with competence in parasitology, surgeons, epidemiologysts, public health specialists, veterinarians, biologists.
